With that being said, we are proud to announce that Sound X Perience will now be stocking the exclusive UK-based AV brand, Audiolab. Audiolab was founded the 1980’s by Phillip Swift and Derek Scotland. They rose to prominence, thanks in part to the 8000A integrated stereo amplifier, which quickly became the go-to if you wanted a step-up from the budget models of the time.
The 8000A became one of the most prominent British amplifiers ever produced, and launched Audiolab into the AV world.
Featuring sleek, straight lines, the Audiolab range is ideal for the modern, minimalist home. Small in stature, and truly beautiful to look at, we have no doubt that Audiolab will be a welcome addition to our Sound X Perience offering.
Audiolab 6000 Series
Audiolab aims to repeat the success of the 8000A with the introduction of the 6000 Series, ideal for modern lovers of music who are looking for high performance and premium build-quality.
- 6000CDT – This is an extremely robust and reliable new-age CD player that makes use of a digital read-ahead buffer to enable it to play even scratched and damaged CD’s which are unreadable by old-school players.
- 6000N Play – This wireless audio streaming player is the latest member of the Audiolab 6000 family. This device allows music to be streamed from any source including phones, tablets and PC’s, to all over your wireless network and can even be expanded into a Multi-Room Audio system.
Audiolab 8300 Series
The Audiolab 8300 Series looks to answer fundamental questions about how people consume the music they love, seeking to make sure that their devices are as easy to use as they are on their ears.
- 8300A Integrated Amplifier – An industry-leading amplifier, the restyled Audiolab 8300A offers an additional phono stage making it more stylish and versatile than ever before. Its improved ultra-efficient circuitry and streamlined components create a unique listening experience.
- 8300CD CD Players – This device is both a CD Player and an exceptional external Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC), able to make the most of your CD collection.
- 8300CDQ CD Player, DAC, Preamp – This device takes listening quality to the next level by offering MQA, a British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. This file is fully authenticated and small enough to stream.
- 8300MB Amplifier – The latest development in the Audiolab range, the 8300MB is a powerhouse. With the ability to power to even the mightiest of speakers with its 250W of pure, balanced amplification, the 8300MB amplifier succeeds, unconditionally.
- 8300XP Power Amplifier – The 8300XP is a classic stereo amplifier, offering sound as crisp and clean as its own minimalist exterior appearance. They offer the unerring ability to engage the listener throughout the musical performance.
Audiolab M-DAC Series
Having racked-up several awards over the years, M-DAC is well-renowned for being one of the best sounding DAC’s ever made.
- M-DAC+ – The M-DAC+ is a high-performance, multi-purpose audio DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Converter) for home use, designed to sit on a desk or table, or integrate into a hi-fi system.
- M-One – The Audiolab M-One is a compact integrated amplifier – the latest addition to the M-DAC family. It harnesses the acclaimed DAC and amplifier technology ensuring a thrilling sonic experience with up to 384kHz audio resolution.
- M-DAC Mini – Another Audiolab contender has entered the ring, the fourth model in the M-DAC range: The M-DAC mini. As the name suggests, the M-DAC Mini is the smallest hi-res DAC/headphone amp in the range.
- M-DAC Nano – The M-DAC Nano combines hi-resolution digital playback with portable convenience, and is the latest addition to the M-DAC family, as well as the smallest yet.
Audiolab M-EAR
Two celebrated names from the UK audio scene – Audiolab and ACS – have teamed up to deliver a range of British-made, multi-driver in-ear monitors called Audiolab M-EAR, available in the M-EAR 2D and the M-EAR 4D.
- M-EAR 2D – The M-EAR 2D is a two-way, two-driver design, with one driver handling mid/high frequencies and the other dedicated to bass.
- M-EAR 4D – The M-EAR 4D is a three-way design sporting four drive units – one for high frequencies, another for midrange and two for bass.
