The SB-2000 Pro is where SVS's entry-level performance graduates into genuinely reference-grade territory. Housed in a sealed cabinet measuring roughly 15 inches on every side, it's compact enough to disappear into a lounge or listening room, yet built to deliver room-filling low frequencies that extend below 20Hz — the kind of subterranean depth most people associate with far larger, far more expensive systems.

At the heart of it is an all-new 12-inch high-excursion SVS driver, paired with a 550-watt RMS (1,500+ watt peak) Sledge STA-550D amplifier. In practical terms: this is serious, headroom-rich power that moves air with authority rather than strain, so bass stays powerful even at reference listening volumes. A dual-layer high-purity copper voice coil and twin toroidal ferrite magnets work together to keep that power controlled and accurate, while an FEA-optimised, powder-coated basket adds rigidity so the cabinet itself doesn't colour the sound.

Behind the scenes, a 50MHz Analog Devices DSP fine-tunes the amplifier's output for tight, tonally precise bass — the difference between a subwoofer that booms and one that's actually musical. And because tuning shouldn't require a manual, the free SVS smartphone app puts volume, EQ, phase, and custom presets at your fingertips, so the subwoofer adapts to your room instead of the other way around.

Technology from SVS's award-winning 16-Ultra Series trickles directly into this model, meaning you're getting flagship engineering DNA at a genuinely accessible price point. Whether it's anchoring a two-channel music system or powering the low end of a full home theatre, the SB-2000 Pro delivers the kind of authoritative, controlled bass that upgrades everything else in your system.
