The 805 D4 Signature takes Bowers & Wilkins' most compact 800 Series speaker and elevates it into a genuine collector's edition — proof that serious sound doesn't require serious size, and that even the smallest model in the range still has room for refinement. 

At the top, a solid-body Diamond Dome tweeter sits in its own isolated aluminium housing, using an elongated tube-loading design to keep vibration and cabinet resonance from ever reaching this sensitive driver. Diamond is used because it's the stiffest material practical for the job — it reproduces cymbals, strings, and vocal breath with exceptional accuracy, moving exactly when instructed and stopping just as precisely, with none of the smearing that softer materials introduce. 

Below it, a 6.5-inch Continuum mid-bass cone delivers surprising scale and low-end extension for a stand-mounted speaker, built into a beautifully finished Reverse-Wrap cabinet that also relocates the crossover — the internal circuitry directing frequencies to each driver — to a dedicated, isolated space for cleaner performance and easier long-term serviceability.
