Hi-Fi Acoustic Architecture
The speaker system is composed of two active speakers that are wirelessly connected. The acoustic architecture of each speaker consists of one horn-loaded planar magnetic tweeter (107mm x 107mm) and one 6.5" long-throw aluminum diaphragm mid-low driver with an aluminum basket. Driven by dual 175W stereo PurePath™ Ultra-HD Class-D TI amplifiers, the speaker system can deliver 256W (RMS) total output power. With the professional audio processing circuit, the frequency response covers the range from 38Hz to 40kHz with the SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) higher than 85dB(A).
High Quality Sound Performance
We adopt top-line high-performance chipsets from Texas Instruments and XMOS XU216 for the end-to-end digital audio processing. All the core modules support high resolution audio signals no less than 24bit/96kHz. The redundant design of the circuit brings powerful signal processing ability, ultra low distortion across the audio band, and superior audio quality.
* ADC (Analogue-to-Digital Converter): Up to 24bit/192kHz
* DSP (Digital Signal Processor): Up to 24bit/192kHz
* DIX (Digital Interface Transceiver): Up to 24bit/216kHz
* DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Converter): Up to 32bit/384kHz
* XMOS XU216: Up to 2,000 MIPS computational horse power and 24bit/192kHz
Hi-Res Audio Certified
All the digital interfaces support the processing of 24bit/192kHz digital audio signals. The analogue audio front end from Texas Instruments features the special configuration to work at 24bit/96kHz, guaranteeing the bit perfect audio conversion. The overall performance exceeds the requirements of Hi-Res Audio certification.
* USB: 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz, 192kHz
* OPT: 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz, 192kHz
* COAX: 44.1kHz, 48kHz, 96kHz, 192kHz
Wirelessly Connected Speakers
The two active speakers are connected via proprietary 5.8GHz connection. The wide bandwidth and low latency connection guarantees the smooth transmission of digital signals up to 24bit/96kHz and the real-time signal synchronization between the two active speakers.
Bluetooth Connection
The Bluetooth SoC features Qualcomm aptX™ HD technology, supporting audio signals with the sampling depth up to 24 bits and the sample rate up to 48kHz.
Easy Control
With the control knobs on the right speaker and the bundled remote control, playback control is easy.
