A marvellous piece of engineering.

I have had the pleasure of living with these for just under a year now- I regret not having them sooner.

Sound: In my humble opinion, the best sounding headphones I have ever listened to. I have heard the beat of JBLs, the body of apple’s products and the treble of Sonys. These encapsulate every strength of these brands in one package.

Noises cancelation:
White noise, brown noise, and so on, absolutely no problem at all. At about 75dB, you are going to struggle to hear anything else except for your music, regardless of setting. Works a treat in a plane or car for example.
However I wouldn’t say they are impervious to external noise. Clanging, banging and voices- noises that fluctuate or are sudden it struggles to cancel out (still hear them slightly). Wind noise… up to a point. I would say Sony and Apple still have the upper hand there.

Build quality: sturdy and well put together; solid. I would go exercising with them (that’s just me). Quite resilient against bumps and scratches (metal and/or otherwise).

Comfort: Very… but I’m sure some people might disagree. It took me a while to figure out how to put them on so I am the most comfortable that I could be (to the point where I don’t even know that they are there).

All and all, seriously good. I would recommend it to people who love listening to their music and hearing every part of it (so much so that your favourite songs sound different in a very special way). They are perfect for movies as well, I would say that in the theatrical category B&W have absolutely no competition.

I highly recommend these- not sure why they don’t get the attention that they deserve.
